At the Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre, our work is rooted in connection, advocacy, and creating safer futures for women, girls, and gender-diverse people. For nearly 50 years, we’ve been a place where individuals can find support, build community, and take action.
Now, we’re growing our team—and we’re looking for passionate, dedicated individuals ready to make a meaningful impact.
We’re currently hiring:
• Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Frontline Worker
These roles are more than jobs—they are opportunities to stand beside individuals navigating some of life’s most difficult moments and to be part of real, community-driven change. As part of our team, you will: • Provide direct, compassionate support to women and gender-diverse individuals • Help navigate systems and access critical resources • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment • Be a voice for advocacy, empowerment, and systemic change
At our Centre, we believe in meeting people where they are. Every conversation, every act of support, and every connection matters. Our space is built on respect, inclusivity, and shared responsibility for community well-being. If you’re someone who leads with empathy, values equity, and wants to be part of something bigger—we want to hear from you.

Help Shape the Future of the Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre The Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre is beginning a rebranding journey—and we are inviting our community to be part of it.
For decades, the Centre has been a place of safety, support, advocacy, and connection. As our programs and services have grown, so has our community. This rebrand is an opportunity to honour our history while creating a name and identity that reflects who we are today—and who we strive to be in the future.
Our new brand will be inclusive of all women and gender-diverse people, including LGBTQ2S+ community members. It is important that our identity reflects the people we serve, the culture of care we uphold, and our shared vision of a safer, more empowered Yukon.
To get this right, we need your voice.
We are asking community members—especially those who use or have used the Centre—to share their thoughts through this short survey. Your feedback will help guide how we communicate our purpose, our values, and the welcoming space we aim to create for everyone.
This is your Centre. Your perspective matters.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us build a future that honours our past and strengthens the support we offer today.
Thank you for taking the time to share your input—your voice is valued.
